Recursive enumeration of clusters in general dimension on hypercubic lattices.
A recursive method for enumerating clusters on a hypercubic lattice in d spatial dimensions is presented from which the weak embedding constants are determined as polynomials in d. A tabulation for all clusters having no free ends is available for nb≤15, where nb is the number of bonds. As illustrated here and elsewhere, this tabulation can be used to generate many series expansions. A novel me...
متن کاملOn certain general integral operators of analytic functions
In this paper, we obtain new sufficient conditions for the operators Fα1,α2,...,αn,β(z) and Gα1,α2,...,αn,β(z) to be univalent in the open unit disc U , where the functions f1, f2, . . . , fn belong to the classes S(a, b) and K(a, b). The order of convexity for the operators Fα1,α2,...,αn,β(z) and Gα1,α2,...,αn,β(z) is also determined. Furthermore, and for β = 1, we obtain sufficient conditions...
متن کاملA characterization of multiwavelet packets on general lattices
The objective of this paper is to establish a complete characterization of multiwavelet packets associated with matrix dilation on general lattices $Gamma$ in $mathbb R^d$ by virtue of time-frequency analysis, matrix theory and operator theory.
متن کاملOn the Voronoi Regions of Certain Lattices *
The Voronoi region of a lattice Ln R is the convex polytope consisting of all points of I that are closer to the origin than to any other point of Ln. In this paper we calculate the second moments of the Voronoi regions of the lattices E6*, E7*, K12, A16 and A24. The results show that these lattices are the best quantizers presently known in dimensions 6, 7, 12, 16 and 24. The calculations are ...
متن کاملBelief functions on lattices
We extend the notion of belief function to the case where the underlying structure is no more the Boolean lattice of subsets of some universal set, but any lattice, which we will endow with a minimal set of properties according to our needs. We show that all classical constructions and definitions (e.g., mass allocation, commonality function, plausibility functions, necessity measures with nest...
